This document explains how GraceTranslate uses cookies and similar technologies on gracetranslate.com and in its real-time voice translation service for churches.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a browser may store on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies, such as local storage in the browser, can serve the same purpose. Some are required for the site to work, while others remember your choices or help us understand usage.
What we currently use
On the GraceTranslate public site, we do not set advertising cookies or use cookies to track visitors across other websites. If a feature requires a strictly necessary cookie or similar browser storage, we use it only to operate and secure that feature or remember your choices.
If we introduce non-essential analytics, functional, or marketing cookies, we will update this page with their purpose and duration. When consent is required, we will ask for your choice before activating them.
Types of cookies
- Strictly necessary cookies enable core functions, security, and the correct display of the site. Without them, some features may not work.
- Preference cookies can remember your language choice or other settings if we enable such an option.
- Analytics cookies can help us understand general site usage. They are currently not active on the public site.
- Marketing cookies are used for tracking and advertising. We currently do not use them.
Third-party services
Certain actions, such as submitting a form or opening an external service, may involve another provider. That provider may use its own technologies under its own privacy policy. Before introducing a feature that sets non-essential cookies, we will publish the relevant information and ask for consent when required.
How to disable or delete cookies
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Common options include:
- viewing and deleting stored cookies;
- blocking all cookies or cookies from a specific site;
- blocking third-party cookies;
- setting up notifications before cookies are stored;
- using private browsing mode.
The names and locations of these settings depend on your browser and device. If you block strictly necessary cookies, parts of the site or service may not work as intended.
Your choices
When consent is required for non-essential cookies, you can accept or decline them through the settings provided. You can later withdraw consent by changing those settings or deleting the cookies in your browser. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that occurred while your consent was valid.
Changes to this document
We will update this text whenever the technologies used by the site change. The date of the last update is listed at the top of the page.
